BA (hons) Graphic Design

(visual communication and illustration)

This site celebrates the creativity, dedication, and hard work of our final-year Graphic Design students at University of West London. Over the past year, students have collaborated to shape every aspect of this event, bringing together a diverse range of ideas, disciplines, and creative voices into one collective showcase.

Graphic design shapes the way we see, understand, and interact with the world around us. Through this exhibition, we invite you to explore the journeys, processes, and outcomes of our graduating students as they respond to contemporary culture through visual communication. From branding and editorial design to digital experiences and experimental practice, the work presented reflects both individual perspectives and the evolving nature of design today.

Based at UWL, our course embraces the ever-changing landscape of graphic design, encouraging conceptual thinking, technical exploration, and creative innovation. We celebrate experimentation, curiosity, and the belief that design has the power to inform, connect, and inspire.

Above all, the show and this site is a reflection of our shared philosophy:
everything is graphic design.

London School of Film, Media and Design

At University of West London, our creative courses are designed to prepare students for the fast-moving and ever-evolving creative industries. Whether your interests lie in advertising and public relations, broadcast journalism, fashion and textiles, film production, graphic design, media and communication, photography, radio and audio production, or visual effects, our courses encourage innovation, collaboration, and creative exploration.

Located at the heart of the UK’s creative and media industries, UWL has strong links with leading organisations and industry professionals across a global creative network. As these industries continue to grow and evolve, the demand for adaptable, skilled, and collaborative creatives has never been greater. Our students are taught by experienced practitioners who bring industry knowledge, insight, and real-world experience directly into the classroom.

Throughout the course, students are encouraged to develop both creative confidence and professional experience. Opportunities for work placements and live projects allow students to engage with industry practice, with many graduates progressing directly into creative careers after completing their studies.

Alongside this, personal tutors provide guidance and support to help students shape their individual career paths.

By combining employability skills, professional development, and entrepreneurial thinking, our courses equip students with the knowledge, experience, and confidence to build successful and rewarding careers within the creative industries.
